With more of 10 years of teaching EEG experience, Dr. Ochoa is the Program Director of the Virtual EEG Program, a well structured online EEG teaching program.
Dr. Ochoa made his Neurology Residence at State University of New York and a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also has a Fellowship in Medical Education at the University of Florida. He has been committed to improve medical education and has been awarded recognition EXEMPLARY TEACHER in 2004 and 2006, 2007 and 2008 by the college of Medicine at the University of Florida. Dr. Ochoa has served as board member of the CME committee at the University of Florida for 7 years and the CME committee at the American Epilepsy Society. He is currently the Neurology Program Director at the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Ochoa served for 10 years as the EEG Lab Director at the University of Florida Neuroscience Institute, and the UF Neurology Clerkship Director for 6 years.
